A New Year- A New You! Eat Your Fruits it’s Good for you!

How often we do not hear eat your fruits it’s good for you? When it comes to nutrition the majority of the focus goes into vegetables and fats. But guess what? Fruits are 100% good for you! Unless you are allergic of course. If not, when you eat a fruit, do you know what you get? A good source of Fiber, Vitamin C, Water, Natural Sugar and basically all the vitamins from A-Z. What’s great about fruits is that, unlike vegetables that usually have particular tastes, most fruits are very tasty. Vegetables sometimes have no taste at all and you have to add salt and spices. No need to add spices on your fruit! I am by no way suggesting eat fruits instead of vegetables, eat your vegetables too, it’s good for you! Instead of a grabbing a candy bar, why not a fruit? If you are graving for something sweet, grab a fruit for a real treat. What I like to do is mix my fruits into a fruit salad., see pic. So put that candy bar or donut down and grab yourself a fruit!
